Premium Copper Bain Marie Alembic still 150L
This Premium Copper bain marie alembic still comes complete with:
Double copper boiler, Copper helmet with swan neck, Condensing recipient with serpentine coil, quick release brass couplings between the helmet and swan neck and also between the swan neck and condensing recipient, the external chamber includes an entrance with a funnel for filling up with water and a brass plug near the base for discharging water. A spring thermometer is also included with all bain marie alembics.
This model is also equipped with a detachable brass locking system on the helmet lid that will facilitate storage when the alembic is not in use and also allows the connection of a refining lentil that can be purchased separately.
It also comes with a pressure release tube for the release of excessive pressure, and copper side handles on the hood for easy removal as well as metal handles on the pot for easier handling.

This product is handcrafted and as such, measurements and capacities may vary slightly from the ones listed here. The copper thickness refers to the original copper sheet used in the manufacturing of the alembic.
Simply fill up the external chamber up to ¾ of its capacity with water, the water level should be checked after each distillation so the alembic doesn’t run dry.
Care for your still: A first cleaning distillation is recommended to clean out any impurities left over from the manufacturing process. These substances, which are inherent to copper, can also be deposited after the still has not been used for a long period of time.
